Mainly rural East Renfrewshire benefits from the City of Glasgow being on the doorstep that is easily commutable as the area has excellent public transport links and the M77 links the area to the M8 Network. East Renfrewshire offers a lifestyle that will attract everyone with its niche shopping in its villages to larger shopping available in the towns. Silverburn Shopping centre is on the doorstep in Pollock. The centre has more than 100 shops, plenty of places to eat and you can finish the day at the 14 screen cinema.

The hidden gem is Rouken Glen Park which offers stunning walks around the walled garden or follow the trail around the site of special scientific interest, skate-park and outdoor gym. Barrhead Foundary has been redeveloped to offer state-of-the-art new library, business and enterprise facilities and sports facilities.

Transport
